Gallery VKN was founded to promote the recognition of Latvian contemporary art and artists both in Latvia and abroad along with the popularization of foreign artists here in Latvia. It is located in the same block of houses as the upcoming pilot project „kim?“ of the Contemporary Art Museum of Latvia is, and it takes part in its events, jointly looking for the answer to the question „What is art?“
